The February Book Roundup

At long last I have finished the Harry Dresden series. Hold the applause. Fifteen books and a few month later – it feels like an utter journey of a series. Now that I’m at it end, however, I’m kind of sad it’s over. I grew to love Murphy, Harry, Butters and all of the crazy mixed-up nonsense that goes on in Chicago.

Much as I’m tempted to let myself fall into book hangover mode – I am intent to not let the second half of February go to waste. Here are the books on my radar:

The Devil in Silver by Victor LaValle

This book has been on my TBR for… years now? I had finally acquired it on the kindle last month but in my Dresden-fuelled dramatics, I couldn’t really spare it a moment or ten. So I finally started it and it’s… good. I’m waiting to really let the new premise set in that isn’t Chicago – so we’ll see.

Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson

This one was recommended to me by my cousin, who insisted that I read it. Because I am a pushover, I bought it and have added it to my “Next” column in my planner.
