  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • dash of cardamom
  • dash of cardamom
  • some sugar
  • anything your heart desires
  1. Preheat your oven to 400F, prep a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas – and roll them dry with a paper towel or anything you have handy – at this point, the skins will probably come off (don’t worry, you’re doing it right!)
  3. Spread the chickpeas on the baking sheet for 30 minutes in the oven.
  4. Take the chickpeas out and toss the chickpeas with the mix of olive oil and spices. You can make them sweet like I’ve done above, or any your favourite flavors like rosemary or paprika
  5. Do NOT put your chickpeas back in the oven for a long time. If you want them to have a glaze, tops put the chickpeas in for 2 minutes. I promise you… seven minutes is way too long.
  6. Eat them warm or take them as a post-lunch snack for a satisfying crunch to end the day.
