November Favorites

This is the first of what (I’m hoping) will be a monthly roundup of my favorite everything! I’m going to start simple with some quick clothing picks and then to the most important thing… books. This whole post is inspired by Rebecca, because I read her favorites post… and I really liked it. (Check it out)

November Favorites

Madewell’s Songbook Dolman Tee:I ordered the Songbook Dolman Tee online a couple weeks ago, and even though I’m apparently living in a 3rd world country with how long it took to get to Germany… it was worth it. The shirt is SO comfortable and I’m obsessed to the point of trying not to wear it so much so that I don’t wear it out. It runs true to size (thankfully) and there are little wings under the sleeves (yay for space). Highly Recommended (Especially because Madewell is having a sale currently!)

Lush’s R&B Hair Moisturizer:This. Is. Amazing. I do not have enough good things to say about it. Lush’s R&B Moisturizer is perfect for my hair, granted, but it makes it so silky smooth and smell incredibly delicious. For those of you who don’t know, my hair is fairly dry, thick, and curly – so if you have a similar type – it works extremely well. Part of the reason I love it so much is, that I can use it on both dry and wet hair. Basically…. I love it.

Steve Madden’s Gobbin Boots: Okay, this is sort of a cheat because I’ve had these boots since August – but since this is my first ‘Favorites’ Post, I figured I could cheat a little bit. I probably wear these boots 4 times a week, because not only are they incredibly cute, they are also seriously comfortable. I love the laces and how I can decide how high I want my socks that day. Also… did I mention they’re comfortable as hell?! Verdict is buy.

Lush’s Bath Bomb (Cinders): There is potentially a trend with me buying as much Lush as I can without bankrupting myself (But what’s money unless you spend it, right?). This was my very first bath bomb, and I loved it. I did use it at home in the good ol’ USA, since I don’t have a bathtub in Deutschland. Nevertheless- amazing in every sense. I don’t think it really matters which one you use, since they’re all perfect. Cinders, though, for me, was a great way to detox from a crazy stressful week (and CINNAMON).

Rag and Bone’s Black Jeans:I love black jeans. I wear honestly nothing else minus some workout yoga leggings. And ever since I bought a pair of Rag and Bone skinny jeans, I’ve spoiled myself. I am now a total diva about jeans, and cannot wear anything else. They are outrageously comfortable and hold everything in just the right places, if you know what I mean… A little on the pricey side, but worth it once in a while!

BOOKS:

So far this November I’ve read 11 books – a fairly solid number as far as I’m concerned. The only problem with that number is choosing my favorites! It seems like eleven becomes infinitely smaller when I have to narrow it down to two.

I’ve already written the review for this thankfully, so I don’t have to apologize for taking my time with them. You already know that this book seriously rocks. The beginning is a bit odd, but if you give it some time – it’s enchanting. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve read it, and I still think it’s probably one of the weirdest but most AMAZING things I’ve read. I’m still confused… but I love the character development and how the whole end comes together. Please read it so we can fangirl about it together.

I haven’t yet written the review for it… BUT you should go read it anyways. It’s absolutely incredible and hilarious. I’m a sucker for anything Alice in Wonderland related, and this was no exception. It’s so funny, but also “too real.” There’s some mental institutions, human trafficking and freaky drugs… and that’s only the beginning. (I won’t spoil more – but READ IT)
